We work with anyone age 16 and older - all identities, sizes, backgrounds and abilities

Do you accept insurance?

Will my insurance cover nutrition counseling if you are in-network?

It depends on your plan. We recommend contacting your insurance company prior to your first appointment if you want to check your coverage for outpatient nutrition counseling.

Things to ask your insurance company:  

  • Does my plan cover medical nutrition therapy (procedure codes 97802 and 97803)?

  • Are visits covered under the preventative care portion of my plan (ICD-10 Code: Z71.3)?

  • Do I have a deductible to meet before my sessions are covered?

  • Do I have a co-pay or co-insurance for these services?

  • Is Telehealth covered? 

  • Is there a limit on the number of sessions or units covered?

  • Do I need a referral from my doctor?

  • Are there specific diagnosis codes that are restricted?
